For the Day Dream Video Project, we had to incorporate real-life videos of ourselves and animations into a video. The video had to open with a real scene, transition into animation, and then return to a real scene. First, I had to complete the After Effects, Premiere/ green screen, and Animate Labs. I then created my character, the background, and the props using Photoshop and Illustrator. I then took those still images and animated them using After Effects and Animate. Once that was done, I had short animated videos that I imported into Premiere along with the videos of myself. I then placed all the videos together so the story was cohesive. Using Freesound.org, I gathered background audio and sound effects and imported them into Premiere. After I added the credits, I was left with a video project about my morning routine. I woke up, got out of bed, and walked to the bathroom to brush my hair. Walking to the bathroom, I become the animated version of myself in the hallway. I walk into the bathroom and myself, but once I start brushing, I am an animation. My character then realizes she is hungry, so she eats an apple. At the end of the video, I am myself again. I got dressed, said bye, and headed to class.
